At Abundant Life Chiropractic Health Center, we practice neurological-based care. Patients enjoy our adjustments because because our care is instrument based. With our unique technique, there is no clicking popping or cracking. Due to the fact that we are instrument based, this allows us to get very specific with our adjustments. Each adjustment is very specific, down to the very millimeter of the spine. When the adjustment is specific, this means faster results for our patients. Patients that have been injured in auto accidents or other situation find our adjustments to be gentle and safe.
Unlike the traditional chiropractic approach of moving bones and addressing musculoskeletal issues, our practice focuses on the nervous system. We use fifteen neurological signs to find the areas of your spine that have the biggest amount of stress. Our technique works with your body, not against it. This allows every adjustment to be tailored to what your body needs.
There are three approaches to correcting misalignments of the spine.
The first approach is to move the bone back into place. However, if the muscles and ligaments are not addressed, the problem will keep coming back.
Another approach that health professionals take would be to address the muscles and ligaments that are holding the spinal bones in place. This is normally done through stretches and exercises. However, if the nerves that supply the muscles and ligaments have stress on them, the muscles and ligaments will not retain their proper position.
Finally, the approach that we use in our clinic is to address the neurology before anything else. The nervous system controls everything that happens in the body, including the muscles and ligaments that are surrounding the spine. When we address the bones, muscles or ligaments, without first taking the stress off of the nerves, this is a temporary solution. But providing neurological-based care, we are able to provide long-lasting correction in order for you to live a healthy life!
